Our gallery remains closed to the public at this time. Our website and online sales and customer service support remain fully operational. In line with the latest ECG COVID-10 safety measures, we are not encouraging travel to our Six Nations community for any form of non-essential travel at this time. Please support Indigenous business and communities by shopping online this holiday sesason.

UPDATE (June 19th, 2020)

Our frequent website visitors may have noticed a very simplified version of our website, including a replacement of our usual collections for simple "gold, silver & accessories" collections. We simplified our site as a result of major lack of stocks we have had since the province-wide shutdown of our suppliers.

We are happy to report our metal suppliers are now reopened after 2 months in provincial enforced shutdown! We will be working on restocking our inventory and hope to have our regular collections back to normal within the next month or so. We have hired extra silversmith assistants for the summer to help with getting our regular inventories stocked and back to normal!!

As an update of our ACCESSORIES collections; our printing suppliers have been back at operations since mid-May but because of LARGE back ups in their own orders, their dropship and wholesale order fulfillments remain very lengthly (2-8 weeks to process). We apologize for the slow processing of any items from our ACCESSORIES collections, but unfortunately faster fulfillment is out of our hands. If you would like to purchase from our ACCESSORIES collections; please note it could take a month for your order to be fulfilled. We do not recommend purchasing time-sensitive ACCESSORIES items at this time.  We have made large wholesale orders and when they are received we will be able to quickly fulfill orders in-person here in our gallery, but it will likely be into late-July/early-August before we anticipate having any ACCESSORIES back in-stock in our studio.

[ORIGINAL POST]

In light of COVID-19, and as mothers, employers and firefighters in our home community of Six Nations we understand it is imperative to update our current service policies & practices to uphold the safety of our customers and community. Please read the updates we have implemented for Sapling & Flint doing business moving forward below:

OUR GALLERY: Our flagship location, the Sapling & Flint Gallery, will remain closed. Our reopening date is not yet scheduled but will align with the re-opening date of businesses in Six Nations of the Grand River. Our community businesses have currently been ordered by both elected council and our Confederacy Chiefs' Council to remain closed to the public.

OUR ONLINE SERVICE: We are proud to maintain our full-service online store. You can shop Sapling & Flint on our website at www.saplingandflint.ca or our shoppable social media platforms on Facebook and Instagram (@SaplingAndFlint).

SHIPPING UPDATES: Canada Post remains our fully committed postal service for all Sapling & Flint purchases, and we continue to ship worldwide. 3 important updates:

1. We will be limiting the shipping of all regular post orders to Friday. This means if you make a regular post purchase during any day of the week, it will be given to Canada Post for shipping on the following friday.

2. Orders made with upgraded shipping can expect to be shipped regularly (often this is next day)

3. Please note we cannot guarantee fast overturns and upgraded shipping on notebooks, clutches, totes, anything in our Accessories Collection as we drop ship these items from our local printing partner. We need to respect the workload and fulfillment capacities they are working under currently. All other products, silver & gold, are proudly made in-studio at the Sapling & Flint Gallery in Six Nations of the Grand River Territory.

We would like to thank our patrons for your continued support and for ensuring your part in stopping the communal spread of COVID-19. Please check back here for any additional updates and be sure to add yourself to our e-subscriber list for all latest releases and announcements for the Sapling & Flint brand!
